Face Off! (Fall 2020) is an in-person party game wherein players showcase the worst photograph they have of themselves saved on their cellphones. Through an elimination-based format, the winner is decided based on who amongst them has them has the worst photo. It was created for my Core Objects: Studio class.

Rules:

  • To begin, everyone has five minutes to find 3 of the worst/cringe-worthy/funny images of themselves.
  • Then, in a 1V1 tournament-based format, players draw from their three cards. At the same time opponents share the card they have chosen.
  • Everyone then votes on the image they like best. Everyone, except the two people who are competing, gets one vote. The image that gets the most votes moves to the next round. Players can still vote even if they are eliminated.
  • If a tie takes place, the players must put down another pair of cards. The winner of the second round wins.
  • Images cannot be reused.
  • Round 1 finishes after everyone has taken their turn.
  • In round 2, winners of round 1 compete against each other.
  • This continues, until one player remains.
