A 2D platformer fighter combat game where you play as a futuristic samurai prince in this dystopian Neo York City. You are trying to find your way up to the top of your penthouse in order to find your mother, the cause of all your problems.

the game is cool. I like the art style. BGM is good. The main theme is cool.
The art and animations are very cohesive to the aesthetic you are attempting to achieve. I really wish the platforming was more fleshed out and less difficult, as sometimes it requires pixel-perfect jumps that are very difficult for a normal player to achieve. I want to be able to see the end of the game without immense struggle solely resulting from my inability to platform.
I love the animation for this game and the fact that the character can fight the enemies and make them fly off the platform xD The critique I would have is to make the background less cut off in some parts of the game and maybe have the jump a bit smoother.
The animations for this game was extremely extremely impressive, but it did seem as though while the art was a big factor of this game, there was not a lot of art incorporated. It would be awesome to have environments throughout the entire level. Github is always a bit faulty, so this experience was probably a good lesson and yall can probably learn from this in future games!
I agree that backgrounds and more worldbuilding would enhance the experience. We updated the game to try and fix a lot of this (and also to smooth out gameplay). There is more to do but it is in fact updated. Thank you for your response!
I'd say this is a very good platformer! First of all, I really like your art design, the city backgrounds and neon lights fit the theme very well and give me a cyberpunk feel. It would be nice to see the backgrounds more often in the game. Also, I think the movement of the game's characters could use some slight improvement.
